Piano, Singing and Theory Tuition
Mili Hill received Grade 8 Distinction with ABRSM for both piano and singing before the age of 18 and she has been teaching individual music lessons privately for over 10 years. She relishes giving tuition to students ranging in ability and diverse music styles - assessing abilities, sourcing appropriate material and adjusting teaching style, dependent on competency and aspiration. She seeks to understands the perspective of different pupils, devises creative ways to engage with them, and uses language relative to their age group - be they primary, secondary, or adults. Lesson outcomes vary depending on the student's chosen style or desires. This can include preparation for ABRSM exams, technique focus or learning repertoire for fun. Mili Hill is proud to be a Musical Theatre teacher at PQA. She has been part of the team at Welwyn Garden City for 4 years and teaches there on Saturdays. She has previously choreographed and musical directed shows such as Legally Blonde, The Addams Family and Troubles a Brewin' - which was performed at His Majesty's Theatre on the West End in London. | |

Mili Hill taught at EGMS for 2 years - teaching small group singing lessons, conducting and leading a junior choir, senior choir and older ensemble. Ages ranged from 4-18 years old. Under the direction of Mili, both junior and senior choir came first in their category at the Glasgow Musical Festival and the senior ensemble came second. |
